We are more than just another treatment provider. At Blaine’s Center for Betterment, we stand apart because we have walked in your shoes.
We Are Relatable
Our founders and staff draw from personal experiences with addiction, recovery, and reentry. This lived expertise allows us to offer genuine empathy and practical insight that only comes from having faced similar challenges.
We Are Educated & Experienced
We are trained professionals in psychology and substance use disorders, with a combined total of more than 15 years in sustained recovery and over a decade of direct service in the field. We stay current with evidence-based practices while bringing real-world understanding to every interaction.
We Are Deeply Concerned
We build authentic relationships and treat every person with dignity and respect. Our focus is on breaking the cycles of addiction and incarceration so that individuals and families can heal and thrive. We are committed to creating a lasting legacy of hope and support in our Hanover community.
Our Story
In 2017, while working together as counselors in a drug and alcohol facility, we discovered our shared vision. Eric was exploring recovery housing, and Andrea was advancing her clinical career and education. Though our paths had different starting points, our passion aligned: helping people change their lives for good.
That shared commitment led to the birth of Blaine’s Center for Betterment — a place where reentry and recovery come together under one roof.
All glory belongs to God, through whom all things are possible. If you are ready for change, we are ready to walk alongside you.
